English Meaning & Translation
One who accomplishes much in little time,
is the greatest doer among all.
The king who tries to do everything accomplishes nothing. He who does the essential first accomplishes all.
💼 Business Lesson
The business that tries to capture every opportunity, satisfy every customer, and serve every market loses focus and underperforms in the segments that matter most. Ruthless prioritisation is the foundation of strategy.
👑 Leader Lesson
The leader's most important skill is not the ability to do many things — it is the ability to identify the one or two things whose completion creates the conditions for everything else. Everything else gets delegated or deferred.
⚙ Manufacturing Lesson
Manufacturing prioritisation starts with identifying your most profitable product lines, your most strategically important customers, and your highest-impact quality risk points — then directing disproportionate management attention to these three.
📜 APPLICATION TO MODERN INDUSTRY

Chanakya was ruthlessly selective in his counsel. Every recommendation was weighed against the single question: does this advance the kingdom's paramount objective? Everything else was deferred or delegated.
