अग्निः सुवर्णं शुद्धीकरोति।
ताप उचितः गुणं जनयति॥


Transliteration (IAST)
Agniḥ suvarṇaṃ śuddhīkaroti.
Tāpa ucitaḥ guṇaṃ janayati.

English Meaning & Translation
Fire purifies gold.
Proper heat generates quality.
The sword that has not been tempered cannot hold its edge. Heat is the maker of strength.
